I found the forum when searching for a problem (unwanted clicking sounds). Now that I've joined, I'm interested in accessories and in start-up help. I want maximum functionality from this phone for my work (self-employed) and the 40 Tricks & Tips article was very helpuful.
RE the problem w/sounds, resetting the standard settings for 'audible selection' made no difference. A member suggested pulling the battery to reboot. It worked for general selections but I still get loud clicks for the on-screen keyboard.
So far I've followed path of: home page - settings - sounds & display - audible selection. That box in unchecked. Is there a separate setting for sounds on the keyboard other than the main menu settings?
This is making my droid unusable in public - irritates everyone in the room.
Suggestions would be appreciated.
