Im not sure if this question has been answered yet but I need to know if wifi is available for use when service has ben suspended without billing. I will be in another country shortly so need to figure this out

Many of us use our "old"smart phones with wifi as media devices, so yes wifi will work despite suspending service!

To preserve battery power, first put the phone into airplane mode (which turns off the cellular radios along with all other communications), then turn on wifi and you will be all set.
