[NEW] Google Search for Android Updated

Google Search has been updated and is now available for download for all devices on 2.2 or later. Some of the enhancements you will see:

• Faster, smoother performance, with an updated and simplified user interface.
• Suggestions for your search grouped by type, with web suggestions at the top.
• Country-specific suggestions and search results for all countries with Google domains.
• Long press to remove history items.

So head on over to the Android Market on your phone of PC and snatch it up.

search hasnt been updated in like forever, has it? oh well hopefully the new search matches up to the improvement on speed the new-ish market update to 3.4.4 has...i will have search for the new search and try it out searching lol

I think I liked it better when the apps showed up first. That is most of my use for the search button.

Actually I just saved that page to my phone and then set my home page to file:///docs/z.html

I don't get it. It doesn't appear in the Market for me and I apparently don't have the latest version. I guess I don't really care what with it working just fine and all, guess it's just that strange obsession with making sure all my apps are up to date, even if I don't really use them.
