NEW Droid X Development! Rom VXLR-OA v2.0 with Aroma Installer!

The Droid X was one of the most popular android devices ever! It was second only to the original Droid phone! It was one sweet phone. With a 1.0Ghz single core processor and froyo it didn't get much better than the DroidX at its release. Development has always been heavy on this device. There has not been any new development for a long time. Mostly because developers have moved on to bigger and better devices. Im sure there are still a few of you who have held on to this device. If you are looking for something to freshen up your device look no further.

Developer "SPz0" has put together a new Rom for the Droid X. It is based on 2.3.3 .621. He has a 2.3.4 version up his sleeve for release later on. This Rom includes some performance tweaks, lightflow integration, 8pt multitouch enabled, new boot animation, updated UI, Updated APK's, cm7 generic sms, Universal APK install, Generic (meaning you can install on multiple carriers), and more!

All system functions, hardware and apps are working, however a few of the customization options are not working in this build. Buggs will be squashed in the next build.

I will be downloading this and installing it after work. I still have a soft spot for my old DroidX. Its mostly set up so my kids have something to play with on car rides other than my phone or tablet. Love seeing some love for my first Android love.

I've done some testing for the dev. Sweet rom. Flashing the final release layer tonight. The latest version is up btw @ the link in the OP. Thanks DMX.
