Hi all.
I received my Droid, courtesy of my girlfriend and kids for Christmas. I love this thing. I had a brief flirtation with smart phones about 5 years ago, with the Treo 650, but, I never used it much, even though I thought it was a great device. After that it was 5 years worth of either no cell phone at all, or "pay as you go". My oldest son decided it was time Dad had something nice, and he told me to pick out any smart phone I wanted, and he would put me on his plan. (What a great bunch of kids I have)
This thing is great! I am a "gadget geek" at heart, so, something like this is just and endless source of amusement. I love the apps, so far, but find some of them come with advertising attached. I am still learning about it's capabilities, and what I can do with this thing.
