new d2 root ?

i just rooted my new d2 and flashed clockwork when i download a rom and go to instal it wont go to recovery it just reboots phone any help thanks

I bet you're using Rom manager ya? You need the Droid 2 bootstrapper from the marketplace. Rom manager is pretty useless on a Droid 2.

If you use the bootstaps you should be aware that even if you make a backup using Clockwork there is a good chance you will have to sbf if you ever decide to go back to stock. I've done it 3 times now.

What kind of problems were you having that you had to sbf hook?
