new and slow

Hi folks new member and slow at all this. Have a question my phone has z4 root it keeps requesting to do an update. I tried to unroot phone and perform update but it keeps failing in some SIMPLE terms can someone help I am tired of seeing message pop up.

Two questions: have you removed the superuser app before trying to accept? And, do you have a custom recovery (SP or CW)?
