Nes rom help

have a rom of ff7 that was made for nes, it was in a rar file and wouldnt work and I unzipped it and it is a .nes file and still wont work, can anyone help?

No there was a small team of ppl who "ported" ff7 into an 8 bit NES version years and years ago, but i wouldnt recommend it. I guess the original PSX version spoiled me lol

Some homebrew roms go beyond the parameters of the system its designed for... conversely, some emulators won't play games that are beyond the system. for example Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Trilogy for Sega Genesis... its bigger than any genesis rom, so some emulators won't run it.

There are plenty of NES emus that can run this rom, in fact i believe the entire game was designed to fit on a 1mb or 512kb cartridge. Hence i do not recommend playing it!
