What help do you need? I do not have experience with a D2 but I have had Droid 1 and now carry Droid 2 Global so I believe that I can answer most of youe questions... St:icon_ banana:art shooting...

I suggest that you go install Liberty on there. And I would probably start with SBFing it just in case something nasty had been on there before putting Liberty on there.

well, when I turn the phone on there are it says , in green:
-reboot system now
-apply sdcard:update.zip
-wipe data/factory reset
-wipe cache partition
-install zip from sdcard
-backup and restore
-mounts and storage
-advanced
i rebooted and there is no phone app. and every thing force closes . I sit in these forums for hours then youtube for hours and I just dont know how to do anything.

When you reboot, you're going into the bootstrap recovery. Go ahead and "wipe data/factory reset" then boot up and put in your gmail info, see how it works out. If you would like a completely stock phone, let me know and I'll go ahead and get the SBF instructions for you.
