Need some advice on Rooting, Tethering and more!

Ok, will most likely get this Razr soon.

Could someone point me to a good resource on how to Root this phone?

Also, could someone tell me what Wifi Tethering apps work with this phone?

Finally, is there a list out of what apps are safe to remove from this phone?

Go next door to the Hacks section of this forum. There is a thread in there with information for a software download for your PC that when run with Razr connected via usb it will root your phone. It is a "one click" process. There is also a couple of threads about tethering...I don't need to tether so I haven't read them...they may be of some help to you. Apps safe to remove...NONE. That's really not true, but I'd recommend you rename the app or freeze the app. Removing the app, even to your sd card, can create a problem for you when you try to take advantage of the OTA updates. With the amount of memory we have there is really not much need in freeing up space by removing apps. Recommend you just freeze them with Titanium Back Up or something like that. Keeps you out of trouble.
