Need mac and droid help

Got my son and new macbook pro. We set up Google talk to video chat. On the macbook and my bionic. He can see me perfectly but no sound. We can see and hear him fine. It's got to be some setting on his end. But we can't find it. My bionic works with all our other mac devices in our home. Anyone have any ideas?
