NEED HELP!!!!Computer idiot needs help syncing HTC rezound

I have an HTC Rezound that i would like to unlock it so that i may use another service provider. It is currently disconnected from any service but i cannot sync it to this computer so i can to the bootloader thing. Just need someone smart.
