Ive pretty much adopted my Droid as a mp3 player. Now I need a case for when I work out. Maybe an arm band, or even a belt clip that protects the phone and has a secure belt clip, but not a leather pouch type. Anyone have a recommendation?
Search around the forums... you will find many threads and links on this.
From what I have read the Belkin Dual fit seems to be the most popular armband solution. There does not seem to be an case with the touch sensitive plastic that is actually made for the Droid yet.
I use an old point and shoot neoprene camera case and a belt right now. It's kind of ghetto, but I didn't have to buy anything. Personally, I am waiting for something actually made for the Droid comes out.
Good luck searching, let me know if you find anything cool
Since I do sweat quite a bit whilst I hit the gym, so when I just leave one of these in my rented locker, it's there permanently, I dun use it when I'm out and about, I only use it when I go to the gym, very sturdy indeed, I once rested an 100lbs dumbell accidentally when I was getting ready to for chest training, and it didn't even dent the case, well, may be cos my legs kinda gave it a bit of cushion also.
I'm using the Belkin Dualfit. I use it on my runs, and it's doing alright. I've never used an armband before this. It keeps it secure and I don't have any problems. The screen is also still responsive through the plastic. Getting it in and out is tight, but that's not really a big deal. Just search "armband" and you'll find a few other threads about this. Though, the Belkin, the XtremeMac, and the Tuen Belt are the three most recommended.
