Navagation

i have been using what i think is a stock navigation program that had a blue triangle as it's icon. Somehow, it disappeared. I went to the play store and could not find it. i called support and they told me that "Maps" replaced it. i used Maps yesterday and found it worthless, taking me down dead end streets and off and on freeways. Do you know how i could get it back or do you know of a good/better nav app?

Waze. Just got bought by google and is beyond reproach if you need to find back roads to avoid traffic. Shows where the cops and traffic cams are, too.

From mobile, tapatalk beta 4

Use Google Now to keep the old Navigation experience. Simply type or say where you are ton where you wanna go, it'll give you the distance, eta, and a few map choices. Tap on the one you want, and the small blue triangle in the bottom right corner to navigate.

Problem solved. i went to play store/menue/ and unchecked auto updates. the next thing i new, Navigation was on my phone. Perhaps i just uninstalled my latest update by turning off auto updates. Maybe that is what DROIDX2TN is talking about above.
