To be honest, I do not know the answer. I was simply pointing you in the right direction. Believe it or not, we are here to help you out.

Ok Jason if you're still out there what you have is an update.zip file. You should have just renamed it update.zip and installed through sprecovery. Try that and let us know how it goes.
