Solved Mysterious Error Icon

Have any of you ever encountered this error before?



I received this via email. Apparently, he installed a SD card and it was working great for about 2 weeks. Now when he takes pics his GS5 shows this screen and the pics don't save .

I've never seen this before and haven't been able to find it online anywhere. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide.

Basically means a picture file is corrupted in some way. Happens when sd cards fail.

Yep. Anytime you see an exclamation point on an icon, it means that there's an error with what the main icon represents. In this case, it means there's an error with the picture that was taken. Since the pictures aren't saving, that's what it's most likely indicating.

Can he save pictures to the internal storage? If so, then it's definitely a SD card problem. Reformatting the SD card might help. If it doesn't, the card might have failed and may not be usable.
