My secondary email does not sync with my phone..any ideas???

As a Verizon customer with my Samsung Galaxy S3 Phone ...I have a default google account, but Ive set up a more important email address and my phone does not retreive my emails from secondary email address...any ideas on what I can do..Please help. Thanking you guys in advance. Rich
