my s4 is keeping syncing old emails from server.

Can I stop it?
It's really annoying.

If you are using a pop3 account, then there is no setting for "period to sync email". The only way I have found to work around this is to delete all the old emails from the inbox of the account or move them to another folder. I guess you could also try a 3rd party email client, but I have not done that. I simply deleted all the old mail from my server inbox.

Thanks.:)
I'm going to move them to a new folder.

The answer depends on whether you are using your S4 as your primary means of dealing with email.

If your S4 is your primary means, then set it to delete emails from the server when you download them.

If you S4 is not your primary means, then set your primary means (your computer) to delete emails from the server when you download them, but set your S4 so it doesn't delete them. Your S4 will then only download messages which have not yet been downloaded onto your computer, but you will still get all email downloading onto your computer.

If your S4 is not your primary means, it's also a good idea to copy all emails you send from your S4 to yourself so that you have a record of them on your computer.
