my phone or facebook????

Just started today but when I open facebook and click on a picture on a pic anywhere, newsfeed, my pics, other peoples pics, it opens but the picture is not there. Only the pic info and comments. You can click view full size and sometimes it will show it but sometimes it tries to download to my phone to view. Wondering if this a problem with my phone or with facebook? My thinking is that since facbook is wanting everyone to switch over to timeline they're creating glitches in old style facebook but not sure? Any advice would be helpful.
