So I have quite an odd predicament on my hands. My Droid will turn completely on and I am still able to receive texts, phone calls, and all that good stuff, but here is the issue. The LCD screen on my droid will not turn on at all. It is a seemingly annoying black screen. The soft button lights still work completely as do the back lights on the LCD screen. Basically, is this an issue that can be fixed or do I have to just go ahead and buy a new phone?

Information on my Droid:
Cyanogen Mod Nightly Build Sholes "cm_sholes_full-155.zip"
Bought back in January of 2010
Everything else has neither been messed with or touched.

Same problem here. Any other solutions found besides returning the phone?

My droid did that..I had to do a factory reset, it worked for a few months more before finally I saw the back lit screen lamp flicker out and couldnt get it to restore again. Sadly that is when I had to go to Droid 2 which is a good phone for me, but nothing will be like the original..

If you manage to get the certain angle you should be able to see the screen and do the reset.. hope this helped.
