My battery did something strange today....

I charge the battery on my phone each night as I did last night. This afternoon I got a notification that there was less than 5% battery remaining and that I should charge it immediately. Sure enough, my battery was low. When I plugged in the charger, the meter read 60% not 5%! I charged it during a short car ride and then unplugged it at 70%. Now, 4 hours later, it's still at 70%. I thought this was a little strange. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Mine did that to me one time too. I wasn't anywhere near a charger so I turned it off. Later, when I turned it back on it had plenty of charge left. It has not done it again since.
