music through car stereo

I have a newer Kenwood excelon stereo w/ auxiliary input, every time I plug my moto Droid in the stereo says n/a device. I'm lost please help

Does it have bluetooth? If so you may be able to hook it up that way.

Basically it comes down to a function of your car stereo, what does it's manual say about the n/a device message?

Which Kenwood Excelon do you have? Is it an Aux port or is it ipod support only? Does it have a USB port?
