The only way I was able to see lyrics was to install an app like Musixmatch (which I don't like much because it is a separate app/music player that will sometimes actually play the song instead of just pulling the lyrics for it) so you end up with 2 music players running at the same time and when your first music player moves on to a new song, Musixmatch will sometimes continue to play the previous song. So then you have 2 songs playing at the same time!
I also have Poweramp which mentions a Musixmatch "plugin" instead of an actual app, but I can't find that "plugin" anywhere. My hopes is that it will display lyrics ONLY and not even play music. Therefore, please let me know if you happen to run across that plugin so I can try it. Good luck.
