We know that the New Motorola XYboard for Verizon Wireless was released right before the Christmas Holiday is on sale for 529.999(10.1) but what do people think of this new Verizon Tablet?
I personally think they are the most overpriced tech products on the market right now. Just my 2 cents. The retail prices on xyboard tablets are beyond comprehension, literally I just look at the prices and I am dumbfounded. Granted it doesn't take much to leave me dumbfounded since I am......well dumb
I spent some time with it, and I personally don't like it. They skinned honeycomb, and IMO it makes it look worse. For the price, and what your getting I say wait for a Transformer Prime. If your in the market for a Verizon tab, the XOOM, and Galaxy Tab 10.1 are great options.

I just grabbed one and I love it. The name...not so much. Personally I'm just calling it a Droid Tablet...or maybe XYPad (sounds like iPad).
Anyway, Verizon just knocked $50 off the price. So I think that's a bit more reasonable. Big Red seems to be listening and responding to customer feedback.
I'm really happy with it so far. To be honest I can't put it down. I love the feel of it...solid rugged design and easy to grip and maneuver. It's lighter and thinner than the Xoom and SGTab. The HD display is bright and vibrant. The sound from the little speakers is incredible. And it's blazing fast. Cameras work nice. Battery life is excellent too.
The only downsides so far...battery is slow to charge up and it has locked up and forced re-booted on me a couple of times... just like Droid phones did back in the beginning. I assume they'll fix that bug again on these devices when ICS comes through. Also the Gorilla Glass gets smudged up pretty quick. I often catch myself polishing the fingerprints off the screen.
Bottom line...I'm a fan. This tablet is worthy of the Droid label.
