Here sir/ma'am... let me refill your cup with more Motorola news. A couple of new Motorola devices just passed through the FCC with Verizon radios. They are the XT1030 and the XT1080. Since we already shared the model numbers for the VZW Moto X phone (XT 1060), then these must be some new devices. Of course, we recently shared intel on a new Motorola device series called the Droid Ultra. It will likely have a Droid Ultra, a Droid Ultra M and maybe a Droid Ultra Maxx. These two models are very likely a couple of these devices.
We don't know much about these two devices, but we do know that the XT1080 will have a 1080 x 1920 display and the XT1030 will have a 720 x 1280 display. This would suggest that the XT1030 is the Droid Ultra M, and the XT1080 is the Droid Ultra. Considering there are only two of these, it is possible Motorola decided to skip the MAXX model in the series and will simply go with the mid-ranger and the high-end. If so, let's cross our fingers they included the larger MAXX style battery in the final XT1080 version.
