I understood your last post, probably read the same news article you did.

I think all Shattershield screens are going to scratch; I don't see how they can make it soft enough to be Shattershield and yet hard enough to be scratch resistant. That's where tempered glass screen protectors help.

I got the ZaggGlass on my Z Force. Dropped many time ans only 1 time it did crack and replaced it. other than Shipping it is lifetime.

The last few years...Yes that has been the case. My guess is that Verizon is the hold up for the Z Force 2 because it will probably be a Droid model initially and exclusive to them for a while before released as an unlocked model. So Moto didn't want to wait on them any longer and announced the Z Play 2 since it's not a Droid model right out of the gate. There have already been leaks that the new Z Force will be a Verizon exclusive Droid for a few months and then be released to all carriers later.
