Here's a bit of news that makes you scratch your head a bit. Motorola just released info that they will be releasing their RAZR MAXX to UK and to Germany in May. What is so odd about this news is that the UK version will run Gingerbread, but the German version will have Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich installed from the factory. Why would they be able to release the phone with ICS in Germany and not the UK? And, if they can release the phone with ICS on it at all, why haven't they brought it to the U.S. version yet?

Regardless of this "mystery" here is some relevant info for our UK and German members,

Unlocked, the handset costs about £430, and you will be able to find it via Clove, Expansys, Amazon, and other British retailers.

Also, here are the specs of this European version, in cased you need a recap:
  • 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Advanced qHD display
  • 8MP rear camera
  • 1.2GHz dual-core processor
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 3,300 mAh battery
