Original Droid owner here and phone's been working fine for 7 months now. I never had a problem going from 2.0 to 2.1 but I got an update early August that said froyo 2.2 when I clicked install the Moto logo stayed on for hours till the battery died. I charged the phone and all was well again. Now late August I get another update that said something about flash 10.1 at market...install.I clicked install and again Moto logo appears for hours.I remove the battery this time and install again and the phone was back to normal.
So basically I missed out on 2.2 and don't know how to get it back!! But then again what's the point of that if the Moto logo stays on again? How do I resolve this? By the way my FIRMWARE currently says: 2.1-update 1
