Used to be able to zoom by sliding my finger up or down the screen in camera mode. But, can't see how to zoom at all. Did an update change this function?
Thank you
On edit, I found a setting, I guess it changed in a update.
Just FYI....Moto recently rolled out the Camera 2018 app update to the Z Series, Moto X4, Moto G5 and apparently the Moto G4 also. The whole app interface has been redesigned. [emoji106]
I hope the update helps. I've had horrible trouble getting my camera to focus over the past few weeks. It's not the phone... I had issues with both replacements (that sounds really bad).

Welcome to the Forum. Swipe left to right to get to the new settings screen. Then tap Settings in the top right. Then enable the Tap Anywhere /Swipe to Zoom option.

Never mind, I found it. If swiping right takes you to Panorama mode, you have to click on the Panorama button to change back to the settings screen. What a horrible interface.

Is anyone else having trouble getting their camera to focus? About 50% of the time, mine tries to focus, but settles on a blurry vision and captures that. I have to move the camera away from the subject and come back for it to focus like it should. I was at a concert last Thursday and a class on Saturday that made me want to chuck my phone, I was so frustrated. Husband's and son's Z Force cameras are working perfectly. Mine's the only one with an attitude (go figure).
Yes, my lens is clean and free of scratches. It's got to be an app thing, as it works great half the time and used to take fantastic pix all of the time until a few months ago.
