D1 and D2 batteries and covers are interchangeable .. D2 is more of a blue cover though .. so worst case the colors won't match ..

I know I saw this question already posted but I couldn't find the thread. The battery from Verizon is 1940 mah but the one on motorola is 1800. Just seems pointless to buy a lower capacity.

i called to check the status of my order today since it has been about 2 weeks already. its still in processing because this coupon code was only for motorola employees apparently.
The lady couldn't tell me if they were going to approve the codes and ship it out or cancel orders but it sounds like its a huge bottle neck because tons of people found out about the code and used it.

hmm reminds me of the unlimited plan from big red thread. haha.

anyway i hope mine gets approved it was such a great deal. spent 90 bucks after the discount.

This is interesting... I ordered mine on December 1st and was also wondering the status of my order since I hadn't heard anything since I received an email right after I placed my order. Online it says " Shipping Status: Shipped on Dec 2, 2010 via Standard and Delivery Estimate: Dec 8, 2010 - Dec 13, 2010" So I guess I'll just wait it out and see if it shows up.

Edit: After checking my online banking, I was never charged for the products, so I am beginning to think that my order might not be coming. What number did you call, the one on the Motorola site, or something affiliated with Amazon?
