Moto Droid Freezing - any utilitie apps to catch the culprit?

Are there any utilities that will catch the freeze and tell us which program is doing this? It totally freezes - screen on, no input received, time stamp stuck.......

I hate to flash AGAIN and start all over. It seems I am redoing this darn thing just when I get it like I want it.

Hmm, that's a great idea for an app. Like a dr watson for droid. It would have to identify hung apps by requesting a menial action from them, so's not to have a performance penalty in itself. Crash reports or memory dumps probably won't occur with hung apps, and assuming that they will be using the majority of the cpu probably won't be true most of the time. A util like this would best come from google bc they could make it part of best practices to make the code adhere to whatever the util would need for diagnostics.

I'm mostly responding just so I can subscribe to the thread I hope somebody who knows more replies soon!
