Moto A855 Text messaging

Hey everyone,

Hopefully somebody can help me, I uninstalled the GO SMS app on my Droid A855 and now my standard text messaging app will not work, it keeps freezing. I decided to install the Handcent SMS app, and that works, but my regular messaging app still freezes, any help? My phone is rooted if that will help anyone help me!

Have you tried fixing permissions? Are you running custom rom or kernel?
