Miui update help

I'm on miui 1.12.9 n just finished installing pboost 2.2 so its running great but now miui update has popped up n my notice bar so I'm curious on how to install it since miui has custom cwr n will it cancel out my pboost 2.2 r will it stay active with update also if I'm flashing new rom do I redo all pboost scripts thanks
