Miui themeing

I'm on gb miui and have a couple things need help with.

1. Theme manager has a few themes, but they all have the same noticication bar at top and icons, anyway to change it? The notification pulldown can be changed in TM but weird having it not match the bar.

2. The themes for miui I've found online are all .zip and I can't get them to work, I need .mtz? Anyway to successfully convert?

3. My phone no longer has the red M logo at boot, everysince I flashed apex..anyone know how to return it?

4. The messaging interface rarely chabges when switch themes, what's up with that?

Having not used MIUI extensively, I'm not sure about how the whole theme thing works.
There is a boot logo I asked those guys over at the DX section to make, it's a smaller version of the red moto logo with Dual Core Technology printed under it.
I guess it's worth a shot?
