The custom skin from Xiaomi "MIUI" was one of my favorites in the beginning of my Android days. The included customization options really had me hooked. It quickly became known as the IOS clone, but over the years it has really developed a sense of uniqueness. The latest version MIUI 7.1 has started the rollout process for many Xiaomi devices including Mi2/2s, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi Note, Mi 4i, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi 2 / Prime, Redmi 1S, Redmi Note Prime, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 3G, and Mi Pad.

This seems to be a smaller incremental build. Some changes include a new "Hidden Folders" feature which allows you to hide and password protect sensitive files. Mi Drop now allows you to share files over Wi-Fi Direct as long as the other device has the app installed. You can now draw in the gallery app. The data saver feature has been added to Indian variants. You can wait for the OTA to hit your device or you can manually install the rom package for your device from the link below.
