MissedCall problem with Handcent

I have missed call installed to control the LED notification colors. I use handcent for my sms messages. The problem is that when missed call notifies me of a new txt message, when I use the dropdown notification from MissedCall to view the message, it opens up in the default droid sms application. Not in handcent.

Is there a way to change this?

Why not just use the notification options in Handcent and just use missed call for missed calls? That is what I do...

but doesn't missed call offer more color options of the led then handcent? I actually would like to to use missed call for the led because of the extra color options.
