Microsoft exchange deleting emails on droid x

Hey does anyone know if there is a setting on the droid x that allows email messages to be deleted on the droid and not delete in the connected outlook? Every time I delete an email it is also deleted in outlook.I am using microsoft exchange. Thanks for the help.

Not sure it will depend on what app/client you're using. I use TouchDown and there is a setting "Do Not Delete From Server" but I don't know about the default (it should but that doesn't mean much, it should allow you to move emails to folders which it doesn't.... POS).
