MicroSd Unmounting!

Has anyone had an issue with the Micro SD Unmounting and loading again. I have been getting this with my Gnote4. I turned off my phone took out my SanDisk 64GB put it back in. For safe measure I pulled the battery put it back in put on the back turned it on and so far so good no more Unmounting message while saving to my SD card.

Sounds like a good bit of advice for those who do have issues. Thanks for the explanation and solution/work around. I know that in the past I've had some SD Card mounting/unmounting issues but don't recall how I resolved them. One thing is for sure, powering down and back on again solves MANY issues that seem to have no other obvious solution.

In fact, it's advisable to do this once daily just so you can start fresh.
 
Is this a new SD card or a card you have used with a previous device...the only time I saw this happen was right before it stopped saving / showing files and data on my son's Note 3.
