micro sd not working?

I put the micro sd from my bioinc to my s3 and it's not working. On app to sd it says does not have sd or sd not emulated. Any ideas?

From what I understand, apps cannot be moved to sd on the S3.

What does it say under settings > storage > sd card? Is the card showing up there?

My droid x sd card did the same thing and it won't work in my droid x anymore either. Verizon said it's bad butvi never had a problem with it before and it worked for a week just fine in the S3.
