Messaging widget

After briefly fooling around with go launcher ex I noticed a feature that it has that I really would like to have separate from it, as I prefer Launcher Pro. The messaging widget allows you to reply from the widget without going into the messaging app. Is there any way to port this widget to a standard widget, or is there a messaging widget that I can get that has this function? Any help would be appreciated, thank you!.
