Media problem, help

I'm currently using a blurless rom, and it got rid of DLNA, so now my dx isn't showing up on my xbox, anybody know a way I can play my songs on there using my dx and the usb cable? I know the upnp way but I'd prefer just a quick wired connection like a itouch

When u connect it to the xbox can't u bring up ur phone as an external device???

yea i can set the phone's mode to USB mass storage/windows media sync, but neither will show up on the xbox.
