While HTC has made a promise to quickly update the A9, and other OEMs seem to be straggling along with updating their flagships to Marshmallow it turns out that for now their are only a few devices that are actually running the latest greatest firmware. Xiaomi a leader in Asian markets will be updating a few of their older devices to Marshmallow soon. They are currently working on MIUI 7 which will bring the Mi3, Mi4, and Mi Note to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The update is in its final stages according to MIUI operators. So far their is no solid ETA, but you should expect the update to arrive soon!
