Market seems frozen?

I use a program call Trackmaster and have used and updated flawlessly in the past. There was a recent update that seemed to install just fine, but in the market under "downloads" that particular app has had the spiral progress bar spinning for several weeks saying it's "installing." It's not doing anything and I even uninstalled the program but that progress bar won't go away.

Since it won't go away I can re-download the program. How do I get this thing to go away. If it helps I'm using UD8.0 on Chevy's 1Ghz ULV kernel.
