Map using up battery?

Maps is using the battery on my maxx? Before I charge my battery I check whats using the battery most and "Maps" is always in the top 3 of battery usage. How can I find the source?

I have this exact thing happening on my phone. I know that for me personally, my Facebook app, which I have allowed location or GPS tracking or whatever it is called, uses this and eats up my battery if I use the Facebook app for extended periods of time.

Try force stopping it and see if it helps.

If force stopping it doesn't clear it up, try going Into settings, apps, manage apps, all, maps, clear data and force stop.

Also do you have location enabled on your browser or anything like that?

Location was enabled in the stock browser and dolphin. Hope it fixes this. Thanks

Right now I have GPS disabled (except a few things) and its nowhere on my battery usage. Hope those fix it
