Manually Launch Desk Dock?

I just got a Note 3 and love the phone. However, one thing that I can't figure out, and I'm going to miss, is desk dock.

My old Razr would go into dock mode when I put it into its dock. Different screen, great emulation for a nightstand alarm clock with a few more features.

I didn't buy a dock for the Note 3, but I'd like to put it into desk/dock mode at night, on the night stand.

I've searched through the phone and on Google but I can't find anything helpful.

Does anyone know how to manually enter Desk/Dock mode on the note 3?

Yup, that works for the S3 but not the Note 3. The Clock applet with the Note 3 doesn't have those options. Just Alarm, World Clock, Stopwatch, and Timer.

** Maybe not, based on reviews. Worked great on my Moto BIONIC, but maybe not so much for the Note 3.

After learning that the Sammy dock app didn't do landscape anyway, I wound going back to an old app - Desk Clock Plus. I still need to work out which app's alarm I want to use. Saying "snooze" sure seems to beat finding the snooze button when I'm groggy.
