Major Help!!

I have the droid RAZR HD and since yesterday, the phone has been periodically freezing. Sometimes it would be for 30 sec, other times it would be for 1-2 mkn and the phone would not respond to me holding down the lock button. I got this phone around the beginning of November and I have at least 6-7 GB of the original storage. I also do have jellybean. So I was hoping anybody could have an idea of what I should do or what's causing the problem??

Could be a bad app.. anything you downloaded recently since you started noticing the problem? I hate to say it but if you can't pinpoint the app.. a factory reset may clear your problem. You could try clearing cache in stock recovery before you try the data wipe.

Turn the phone off.
Hold volume up + volume down + power
scroll down to recovery and press volume up to select it
at the dead android screen hold volume down and press volume up once (while still holding volume down)
Scroll to wipe cache and use power to select it
reboot

Wiping data would be the same method except you select wipe data, not cache.
