Mailing photos through gmail, too slow!!!!

I have a Samsung Fascinate. I take photos with the camera, then hit the share button, choose Gmail. It takes hours and even days for the photos to send! Is there an app that can speed the process?

First off, how big are the photos you're sending? You might want to start there to determine if you're getting reasonable send speeds. Large files will take longer to send.
