Magnetic closure on belt holster

Hello, I just upgraded to the Droid Maxx from a Bionic. I really like the maxx, os difference, longer battery life.

Anyway, I bought a leather holster to clip on my belt for it and it has a little magnet to keep it closed. Will the magnet affect the phone at all?

I tried the search function here for this topic but I couldn't find anything except something about dock mode.

No it shouldn't.. Magnets used to trigger dock mode as you found out.. But no.. A simple magnet won't do anything..
