Loyalty Discount?

I just signed into my verizon account and it is has on 4/12/11 I will be able to upgrade my phone with the loyalty discount. Can anyone help explain to me what this is?

I find this funny because they i just received another replacement d2.

It just means you'll get a new phone on your upgrade date and pay as if you're a new customer and I'm pretty sure that's what it is. I know I upgraded both mine and my kids' lines and paid almost nothing for our phones, the most being my Droid 2 which was $100 after rebate

I'm wondering what this is too. I am currently eligible for an upgraded phone at discount pricing, but then it says that if I wait until 11/2011 when my account is actually due for renewal I will get the "loyalty discount". I want to know if it's worth waiting for.
