Low ringer volume?

I've got the ringer volume fully turned up in volume settings both for ringtones and notifications, but it doesn't sound very loud at all compared to the Droid X. Does the TB just not make its noises very loudly, or is there some further way to augment it? Maybe I'm just using quieter sounds?

This is on a bone stock TB with the built-in sounds.

Not sure, my TB is louder than my old DX.
